18th Annual Association Open/Womens Tournament

The 18th Association Open/Womens tournament was held on October 7th and 8th at Concordia Bowl. The association would like to extend a big thank you to Wally and Stephanie Hall and their staff for hosting our tournament. We had 8 teams representing three centers, Concordia Bowl, Higginsville Lanes, and Stars and Strikes Bowling center. Thank you to all the bowlers who entered this year’s tournament. The 18th Annual Association Youth Tournament was held on Feb 10th this year at Higginsville Lanes. The association would like to extend a big Thank you to Janet and Keith Bredehoeft and their staff for hosting our tournament. We had a total of 6 teams representing Higginsville Lanes, Alley Cats and Stars and Strikes Bowling Center. Final standings have been posted. Bowl for Heroes Tournament

The West Central Missouri Bowling Association held a charity tournament to benefit Camp Valor Outdoors. A total of $540 was raised to benefit the organization whose mission is to assist and reconnect ill, injured, and wounded veterans throughout the healing process by way of adaptive competitive outdoor activities. Activities include guided hunting, fishing, shooting, archery, riding ATV’s, and attending sports venues. Missouri BPA Family Tournament

Even though most of the bowling world had cancelled or postponed their bowling tournaments, the Missouri BPA held their annual Family bowling tournament. Pictured above are Tiffany Jungeblut, Natalie Young, and Kaitlyn Logan who advanced to the state finals from zone competition by winning their respective divisions. Also advancing to the finals were Alyssia Ott and Jasmyn Callaway. In the state finals Alyssia Ott came away the big winner in the Parent/Youth division taking the crown in her first time at the state finals. Natalie Young finished in 12th. In the Parent/Teen division Tiffany Jungeblut finished in 32nd. Natalie also competed in the Adult/Youth division and came away with a 5th place finish. Both Tiffany and Kaitlyn competed in the Adult/Teen division with Kaitlyn finishing 8th and Tiffany finishing 24th. Due to circumstances beyond her control Jasmyn was not able to make to the state finals. Tiffany, Natalie, and Kaitlyn represented Higginsville Lanes, and Alyssia and Jasmyn represented Stars and Strikes Lanes. CONGRATULATIONS go out to all our youth bowlers representing the WCMUSBCA.
