18th Annual Association Youth Tournament-

Our annual youth tournament was held on February 10th, hosted by Higginsville Lanes.  Tournament results are now posted on the tournament results page.

High score reporting –

We are now reporting high scores to the state association for recognition.  The following scores are what we are looking for:  Men – 300 game, 800 series, and 900 series.  Women – 290 game and above, and 775 series and above.  Youth – 275 game and above, and 700 series and above.  If you have bowled a score within these parameters, please send us your information (Picture taken at the center with the ball, scores, league or tournament name and date the score was shot) to the association manager.

Association Annual Meeting –

The annual Association Meeting was held at Alley Cats on August 13, 2023.  One of the major topics discussed was a raise in local association dues.  It was voted on to increase dues by $2.00 beginning with the 2024 – 2025 season.  The increase also included a clause for a moratorium on another increase for a minimum of 5 years.

Final results for the tournament are now posted on the tournament results page.  Thanks go out to all the bowlers who participated and thank you to Wally and Stephanie Hall and staff of Concordia Bowl for hosting our tournament.                                                                

Did you know? – If you want to bowl in a tournament but need a bowler, contact us, we may have other bowler’s looking to join a team Let’s work together to make our functions a success.

BOARD MEMBERS/VOLUNTEERS

The association is in need of board members. Board members represent a center. They are the main contact between the Association and the bowlers. They distribute info to the bowlers, attend board meetings, must complete the RVP/SafeSport Training and background check within 30 days of being nominated to the board.

BOWLING BALL TECHNOLOGY CHANGES:

August 1, 2022 – A dry towel only can be used to clean a bowling ball during any sanctioned competition.  

August 1, 2020 – Balance holes are prohibited.
